THE STORY
One year ago, Studio 13 opened its doors. Our mission from the start has been to provide an inclusive and creative space for people of all abilities to feel comfortable, seen, and free to express themselves. As third spaces dissapear, and the world continues to change, we are here to build commuinty and embrace culture through creative wellness. We started with Adaptive Art Sessions and Guided Paint Parties, but have evolved into so much more.
THE NEXT CHAPTER
As we build into our next year, we're ready to use what we've built, what we've learned, and the community that showed up for us to give Lawton something it truly deserves.
A place that feels like it belongs to everyone.
We're building Studio 13 into a creative third space where people can come to make something, hear something, meet someone, celebrate something—or simply have somewhere to go.
The next chapter will bring expanded art programming, more events and live experiences, accessible and sensory-friendly programming, opportunities for local artists and creators, and a space that can serve as a home away from home for the people who need one.
But spaces like this don't grow on their own.
They grow because people believe they should exist.

About Us
Studio 13 grew directly from the evolution of Krebs Kreates - Art byMonique Cherrelle. As demand for art experiences and alternative wellness practices increased, it became clear that the community needed a permanent creative home—a place where people could slow down, stay awhile, and connect through art.
Artist, Creative Director
Monique Cherrelle
Monique is a self-taught artist, certified life coach, and creative facilitator with over six years of experience working in the mental health and behavioral health field. Her background blends science, psychology, and art, allowing her to approach creativity as both an expressive outlet and a tool for emotional wellness.
She is the founder of Krebs Kreates, an art-centered brand that began as a personal creative practice and evolved into one-on-one and small group art experiences focused on expression, release, and self-discovery—rather than technique or perfection.
Monique believes art should feel safe, accessible, and human, especially for those who have never considered themselves “artists.” Her vision for Studio 13 is rooted in inclusion, healing, and giving people permission to create without pressure.
Director of Marketing & Operations
De'von Bailey
De'Von brings a dynamic blend of leadership, mentorship, and community engagement to Studio 13. With a background in recreation, coaching, sales, marketing, and event hosting, he is known for his ability to bring people together and create environments where everyone feels welcome.
A former Division I athlete and team captain, De'Von has spent years mentoring young men and working with individuals from diverse and challenging backgrounds, encouraging growth, accountability, and positive choices. His natural charisma, professionalism, and people-first mindset make him the heartbeat behind Studio 13’s community-driven atmosphere.
De'Von’s role centers on operations, partnerships, event experiences, and ensuring that Studio 13 feels less like a business—and more like a gathering place.
